Visitors and Summer Travelling!!!

We've been having a great and busy summer so far. Aunt DD (Derrica :) ) came to visit the very beginning of June. We had a great time, and she of course spoiled Faith :) I also got to spend some girl time with Aunt DD which we definitely needed!

Then we went to Oklahoma for about 10 days to visit Pawpaw, GG and Aunt Ally. It was such a nice vacation for us all. Faith adjusted well and had fun playing with Moose (their Golden Retriever). We celebrated Faith's one year bday again as they were not able to come to the party. Also, Nate and I had the chance to go camping all by ourselves while we were in OK. We went to Greenleaf Lake. It was beautiful, but VERY hot....and no one could tell us where the good fishing was. We enjoyed the vaca by ourselves and are thankful that Pawpaw and GG watched Faith.

After OK we went up to Iowa this past week or so. We stopped and saw Uncle Dan and Aunt DD for a couple nights. Der and I went garageo-saleing and found some great buys :) And, of course, Nate and Dan went fishing :) Dan even caught a cat fish!

Next it was on to Cabin Week with the Berning family. Faith enjoyed her first canoe trip! :) We were there until this past Tuesday night when we came home. To top it all off, Faith got tubes in her ears yesterday. She was such the little trooper. Afterwards she was NOT happy at the way the anesthesia was making her feel, but by that afternoon you couldn't even tell she'd had surgery. We're thankful that we were able to do this and hope it helps with the chronic ear infections. Enjoy the pics which say alot more than words :)
