Happy 1st Birthday, Lainie-bug!!!

Lainie turned 1 on August 13, and I'm finally getting up some pics :) We had a great day here with our family of 4 celebrating all the little details. We were up bright and early (as usual) and made a special breakfast for Lainie (eggs and muffins). During Lainie's morning nap Faith and Daddy went and picked her out a present. After nap we all loaded up and went to a local, very kid-friendly, pool. We swam, played and had a picnic. The girls had a blast and were sufficiently worn out for their afternoon nap so that Mommy and Daddy had great time to bake, cook, decorate and wrap in prep for our family party. Gigi made it just in time for the festivities which was a huge blessing to us. We are so thankful she was able to celebrate with us :) Lainie LOVED her smash cake...I believe it's the first cake she's ever had....but surely not the last. It amazes me how much she enjoys the "little things." We opted to get her one gift (as we have plenty of toys around here!). But, you would have thought that one gift was the most amazing gift in the entire world. For a girl who has no recollection of ever opening a present before, she was beside herself with excitement. She squealed, wide-eyed, hands waving. It was a blast. Here are some pics of the great day. We LOVE you, Lainie! Happy 1st birthday!!!

COUSINS!

It has been a summer FULL of cousins for us!!! And we LOVE it!!! Reid and Rylee Hutchings were born May 17th. They were big and healthy and their Mommy did an AWESOME job! We were able to go up and see them a couple days after they were born. They have grown so much since these pics, but here they are in their newborn glory :)

Mr. Reid, chill and handsome as usual!

Ms. Rylee...look at those plump little lips!

This pic was taken about 6ish weeks ago when the twins were about 6 weeks old too. All the Hutchings  babies!

THEN Adrienne Marie was born on July 6th! She and momma were both healthy and happy :) I was able to be there for the birth which was such an amazing thing. Then Nate and I went back up with our girls just a couple weeks ago. Adrienne and big brother and big sister are doing great. Here is the sweet peanut:

LOOK at that HAIR! So dark!!!!!

It has been an amazing summer for us...filled with little tiny blessings. We are so thankful that each of these special babies was born healthy and that they are doing well. We LOVE our cousins (and nieces/nephews :) ).
