A Tea Party for the Girls... (and various other pics)

So, we're finally getting some pictures uploaded!!! It's been pretty busy her with midterms for me and the trimester ending for Nate. But, thankfully, in the midst of the busyness, we had the chance to meet Dan and Derrica at Deidra and Todd's house this past weekend as they live only about an hour away in Osage Beach.
We had such a fun weekend, and it was nice for the guys and girls to get to do their own things. As you can see....the girls went to a tea party! Deidra treated us to a morning at a tea room where we got to choose from over 100 teas. Along with our own pot of tea, we were also served a three course "English style" brunch. It was such a treat! The guys spent the day hunting, buying camo and doing various other "man" activities :)

Derrica, Deidra, me and Faith at our special tea table. Faith didn't last too long before it was time for a morning nap :)
I had peach and apricot tea, Derrica tried a chocolate tea, and Deidra had strawberry shortcake. We each had a cup of each other's tea too. We couldn't decide on our favorite. They were all really good.
Oh the days when it was okay to drool all over mom :)Since we haven't posted in so long...we have lots of random pics... Laughing while Dad lifts her high

Yum-o! Faith is loving her rice now a days. She's also tried banana and likes it. Next we're going for carrots. We'll let you know :)

Isn't this towel cute? Our little flower child (thanks Aunt Der!)

A friend made this had for Faith and it's been cool enough to try it out. She gets that ornery look from her dad...

Have we mentioned that she loves her bunny...as you can see...

Faith has turned into a chatterbox lately, so we've been having fun with that. One of these days we're going to tape her and figure out how to post it on here...one of these days :) She can pretty much roll over, but it's slow going. She's getting better and better. We're having more and more fun with her....it seems like she's getting more ticklish too...especially her feet and belly. It makes us laugh more than her, I think :) Hope you all have a good laugh today too!

Pumpkin Farm with Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandma Debbie and Paw-paw Al came to visit this week. We had a great time together, and one day we ventured to a pumpkin farm. As you can see...we found a very cute pumpkin at a bargain price :) Faith with her Grandma and Grandpa
Now, how does this thing work? Arms too?Oh, just my head! I got it...like this? Grandpa ventured into Amanda's pretty but muddy garden for a picture opp.
Faith and I with the scarecrowFaith is checking out the goats...not so sure about them :) After the pumpkin farm we went to visit Daddy at school.
Grandma and Faith were playing (after the outfit change :)) while we helped Nate get his school things together.
Playing with Paw-paw one more time before they left.

So, as you can see....it was a great time. Faith is a little bit lost now that the house is so much quieter. She sort of looked at me after they left like, "ok....just me and you? what a rip off!" :) Nate and I both put off alot of our work this week, so we're getting caught up this weekend and enjoying the Fall weather. That's all for now :)

"She has the tiniest thumb I've ever seen!"

As you can see from the pictures, we got to go to school today! Faith was a hit in her daddy's classroom :) Kids asked questions like...does she walk? does she talk? does she have teeth? It was pretty funny. And thier side comments were the best, hence the blog title. One little boy said this as he stared at her fingers. A couple girls came up to me and said, "She is definitley the cutest baby I have ever seen in my entire life." What mom doesn't love hearing this? :) The third and fourth pics are shots of Nate's classroom. The teams compete against each other by gaining behavior "yardage"
Helping dad clean off the board after the kids went home.

Listening to dad play the guitar. She loves it...her legs start kicking....

Playing in Cousin Reagan's exersaucer. Faith likes it for a little while, but then gets worn out from holding herself up. I'm sure she'll like it more and more the older/stronger she gets.

Playing with a finger puppet we got from the library today. Diana let us borrow her bumbo tray which works really well.

Faith and I went home to Iowa this past weekend. We had the chance to go to Skyler's funeral. Of course, it was such a sad day, but the service was done very well and his family was so gracious. From what I have heard, Taryn is doing much better and is out of the ICU.

Faith and I went up to see Danielle, Weston and Reagan after being in Villisca. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. It was so great to see them all. Reagan and Faith are fascinated with each other. Faith recieved lots of hugs and kisses from Reagan. It was so sweet.

Well, that's all for now!
