Back home with lots of pictures!

We're back home in Missouri now after an eventful week and a half. Our trip started with Chelsey and Brent's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding with an especially beautiful bride as you can see to the side.

While Nate and I missed Faith, we were thankful for time to spend with friends. Mom, Greg and Kristy watched Faith and our time with them was so quick that we didn't get any pictures! Kristy had a good bonding experience with Faith as she got to watch her during her "fussy time," but Kristy handled it like any great aunt :)

After picking up Faith in Villisca, we drove through the night to Oklahoma to see our Hutchings side. Faith did so well. She slept pretty much the entire time! Definitley an answer to prayer. We were able to stay in OK for a little over a week. Grandma Debbie and Paw-paw Al and Aunt Ally got lots of sugars from Faith :) Our time was relaxing and full of good food thanks to Grandma
Debbie.

While we were in OK, Faith was also dedicated by Paw-paw Al. We are so thankful that he was able to do the baby dedication. We vowed to raise Faith up in the ways of the Lord to our best ability. She looked so cute her in all white outfit...white dress, white shoes (thanks Granny :) ), white bonnet....quite the vision :) AND...she didn't even get fussy while we were in front of the congregation!

So, in the pictures we have Uncle Raymond with the wonderful white beard, Uncle Jerry with the almost gray beard :) , Nate, Allison and Faith, our family picture, and Faith with Grandma Debbie.

Visitors and Thumbsucking...

Hello everyone! Not much time to write as Faith should be waking up soon. But, we want to post some pics before we leave tomorrow. We've had a great week with Holly and Aunt Derrica visiting. For those of you who don't know, Aunt Derrica is the third picture and Holly is the last picture. Also, Faith has been finding her thumb more and more. We're not the parents who would rather her use the pacifier. We're the parents encouraging the thumb :) I (Leah) am an experienced thumb-sucker. Granted, it did lead to an overbite and years of braces....so hopefully we don't run into that! Faith looks so sweet sucking her thumb. She gets frustrated when she starts to fall asleep and her thumb falls out of her mouth...then she has to find it again :) It's pretty entertaining. The first pic is of Faith in her Sunday dress. We love the outfit...thanks to cousin Reagan :) Our next post will be after our vacation! Hope you all are well.

Such a good baby...

Well, the past week and a half with Faith has been so good. She's sleeping more, smiling more, and crying less. We're enjoying it alot. Our visit with Pawpaw Al at Camp Wilderness was great. Faith slept on the way down, and she slept alot of the time while we were there...then she slept on the way home and even slept quite a bit that night. Pawpaw had the touch! She slept on him for a long time. We are VERY excited to go to OK next week!

One of my (Leah's) good friends/college roommates, Holly Paulsen, got here last night after quite the car ordeal. We are soooo glad she's come to visit. Today we went downtown with Faith and ate some Greek food. Then we went on a short little walk...it's was just too hot to be out long. Holly is rocking Faith at the moment as she just seems to like to rock this time of day :) Pics of Holly and Faith to come :)

The other pics we posted are of Faith in her dress last Sunday. It was too cute and she even smiled for the camera. The first one is one of our favorites we've taken so far.

Then we have daddy getting his sugars. Her cheeks are just so kissable! :)

The next couple of weeks will be eventful for us, and we're excited to see lots of people. Aunt Derrica is coming to visit Mon-Wed, then we leave for our friend Chelsey's wedding in Orange City. Along the way Grandma Dorothy is meeting us, and she will be watching Faith for the weekend. Nate and I will be coming back through on Sunday to pick up Faith. Then, the plan is to start out for Oklahoma when she falls asleep for the night with hopes that she will sleep a large chunk of the drive. We will be in OK for a whole week. In the meantime, we hope to post a blog or two, but if we don't....that's why :)

In honor of our upcoming Oklahoma trip...We introduce to you our Baby Sooner.... (compliments of Wes and Carole :) ).

Happy Late 4th of July!

Well, it's been awhile since we were able to write. Every time we tried, our internet wouldn't let us upload pics...so it's taken awhile!

First....Nate GOT A JOB this past Thursday! He interviewed on Wed and was offered the position on Thursday....they liked him :) He will be teaching 4th grade. We are so thankful to God and to all of you who have been praying.

That was our big news :) We celebrated the 4th by watching a few movies as Faith slept. She has been doing better in the evenings, and sleeping quite a bit at night which is such a blessing. It makes the rough times alot more bearable :)

We also got her a new toy. It's a colorful mat with toys that dangle down. She looks at them and possibly tries to hit them. Otherwise she's just flayling around and happens to hit them. Either way, she seems to enjoy it :)

Pawpaw Al is teaching at Camp Wilderness this week, which is only about an hour from us. So, we're going to brave the nightly fussy time and visit camp this Wednesday evening. We're hoping that Faith will surprise us with her
