Introducing Levi David Hodge!!!!!!!

Levi David Hodge was born 5/25!!!!! At 4 and a half weeks premature he still weighed 7lbs 4oz! Danielle started having contractions around 4am. They were close together and very painful by midmorning, so she and Weston went into the hospital. Danielle had an emergency c-section that afternoon as her placenta ruptured. We thank God that everything went well and that Danielle and Levi are safe and healthy. Levi spent a few nights in the NICU, but surprised everyone by going home only 4 days after he was born!!! Danielle and Levi came home on Friday to a very excited big sister Reagan. She was so glad to have Mommy and Daddy home and a little unsure about this new baby :) Levi is of course so sweet, eating well and generally seems very content :) Here are some pics to share :)

As you can see, Reagan had just gotten out of the bath when they got home :)Reagan holding her little brother for the first time :)
Yeah!!! We have a boy :) So exciting. Please keep Danielle, Weston, Reagan and Levi in your prayers as Danielle heals and they all adjust to the new addition :)

Pool Time!

We got to go to the pool with Cousin Reagan and Aunt Danielle. It was Faith's first time and she loved it. She went face first a couple times, but it was a good learning experience :)
Not so sure about the fountain, but Reagan was showing her the ropesThere's baby Hodge!!! Doesn't she look AMAZING??? This was actually the day before baby Hodge was born. We had to get this pic as we got it with Reagan too :) The girls went out to see a movie :)

Happy Birthday Reagan!

We went up to Iowa last weekend to visit Danielle, Weston and Reagan and to go to Reagan's 2nd birthday party. Grandpa Tim and Nancy were also able to come to the party. A highlight was the Barbie Jeep Reagan got from Grandpa Tim. It will be a little while before she has it figured out, but she and Faith had fun trying :)

Cute Summer Pics :)

Couldn't resist posting these pics today after we had lunch with Rhonda at the Dean's Residence where she works at the University. We ate in the back yard after a failed attempt to eat in Chipotle....we had a restless girl on our hands :) As you can see, Rhonda is expecting a baby boy within the next 6 wks! Hope you are also enjoying the beautiful weather :)

Oh, and did we mention that the girl is loving her peas these day? I think she enjoys picking them up as much as eating them :)

Happy FIRST Birthday Faith!!!!!

Faith turned one on May 14. It is amazing how fast the year has gone and how much she has developed in that time. She is now officially walking on her own. She has mishaps here and there of course, but walking is now her preferred mode of transportation :)
To celebrate her birthday, we had a party for her this Saturday. Grandma Dorothy, Aunt Kiki (Kristy) and Uncle Dan were able to come for it. Gma Debbie and Aunt Ally were planning on coming, but unfortunately Allison was in a car accident last Thursday. Her car was totalled, but THANKFULLY she was not seriously hurt. She was left very sore though, and understandably could not travel to MO the next day. We missed them, but are so thankful that she is safe.
Here are some pics of the celebration :)

Faith with Uncle Dan....you'll notice I wasn't great at getting pics of her smiling...but I swear she did :) Daddy putting on the birthday candles. Grandma Dorothy got Faith an icecream cake...which she really enjoyed...as you can see below :)

AND!!!! THE BIG CATCH! Nate and Dan went fishing Saturday night. Dan caught a 4 lb catfish and Nate caught a 6 lber. So for lunch today we had fried catfish. It was delicious!
In other news, I am completely done for the semester!!! One year down and one year to go. I have the summer off now, and am so thankful to have time with Nate and Faith. Nate's last day is June 2nd...as you can imagine, he's excited too :) The past year has been one of trials and joys. More than anything we are left thankful for all God has provided for us and especially for our baby girl :) Have a great week!

Spring Swinging

We went to the park today and took Faith swinging. As you can hopefully see from the video, she thought it was pretty funny.....and so did I apparently...next time I'm going to try and spare you all my commentary :)

Faith giving Daddy a kiss while she swings...and don't forget bunny :)

Hope you all are enjoying some Spring weather.

Heath and Jody's wedding was last weekend. I rode up with Der, Dan and our friend, Melinda (Mel). Nate and Faith stayed home as it was such a long drive for such a short time. While that may have been "smart" in some ways, we've decided not to do it again :) too hard to be away.
BUT the wedding was beatuiful and went SO smoothly!!!! Congrats Heath and Jody!!!!
Here are some pics of the weekend!

In the meantime, Faith has gotten another ear infection. She's doing much better now that she's on antibiotics. We're waiting to hear from our pediatrician about a referral to get tubes in her ears. She's still a trooper, though having a relatively great attitude considering the number of ear infections she gets!
