Since the first one worked..... :)

Since the first video worked...maybe this one will too :) Here Faith is "reading" one of her favorite books Brainy Baby's ABCs and she LOVES "U" b/c it's a little girl smiling really big holding a red umbrella. She thinks it's pretty hilarious, as you can see. More to come sometime soon :)

First Attempt Posting a Video.......

....And it worked? I hope? Well, as you can hoefully tell, this is Faith walking with her walker. It's so funny. As you can see, she has learned to maneuver it so that the "game" isn't over when she runs into something :) Enjoy!!!

Christ is Risen Today!

Happy Easter everyone!!!! We hope you had a day full of joy and remembering the sacrifice of Christ. Our day has been great. Church this morning was beautiful. There was an Easter cantata and the MU trombone ensemble performed as well. We are so thankful for a church family to celebrate with (as well as actual family! Aunt Ally :) ). We've also taken lots of pics since Aunt Ally came to visit, so we thought we'd better start uploading!

Faith checking out her Easter basket with the bunny ears she got from Aunt Der :) Any other presents from Gma and Paw paw in there? (thank you!) And thank you to Grandma Dorothy for the beautiful Easter dress.

How cute is she?! We love this picture :)Family picture after churchAunt Ally! Faith's teething, so it's hard to get her with her hand out of her mouth :)Aunt Ally helping Faith walk

That daddy is silly!

We went to the St. Louis zoo yesterday after we picked up Aunt Ally from the airport. Faith wasn't really aware of all the animals, but it was fun for the grown ups and Faith enjoyed being outside and seeing all the other kids :)

Who are these people? And is that a baby in there? lol.

That's all for now :) Hope your week starts out joyfully as we remember that Christ has risen for us all :)

Grandparents (and Uncle) Galore!

The past couple weeks we have had wonderful visits with the grandparents :) Paw paw Al and Gma Debbie came to visit over Daddy's spring break. This time Faith was not scared of paw paw's mustache. She was actually fascinated with it and kept reaching out to touch it, then laughing at the way it felt.
We had fun going on walks, playing and eating out. Faith is such a social butterfly...waving to people, waving to ceiling fans, waving to trees :) She loves to wave and have people smile back at her. Unfortuantely, towards the end of their visit, she developed ANOTHER ear infection. The dr. told us that they don't want to refer her to an ENT specialist as their hoping she won't have more infections with the warming weather. We're praying this is the case too!
Grandma and Grandpa Berning and Uncle Dylan came to visit this past weekend. Oh, and don't forget Tucker (the yorkie :) )! Thankfully Faith was feeling mostly better by the time they arrived. We had a girls day on Saturday...shopping, of course :) And the guys spent the day doing their thing too....Nate had his first church league softball practice in the afternoon. Faith loved chasing Tucker around and giving him kisses (despite our best attempts to stop her :) ). She loves Uncle Dylan....offering him a kiss after playing with him for only a few minutes :) It was a great weekend, and we miss ALL the grandparents and Uncle Dylan. We've been spoiled so much lately :)
Aunt Ally is flying in this coming Saturday and staying until Wednesday. We are so excited to see her. Faith has changed SO much in the past few months. All our family kept saying how much she's changed and grown. She's crawling everywhere still and "cruising" on furniture...standing on her own a few times even! Watch out world....a walking Faith is coming soon!
Unfortunatley Faith woke up with a fever this morning, so we're nursing her back to health today. We're not sure why (story of our life, right? :) ), but it could be that her ears haven't healed, she's teething, etc. We're just praying it gets better really soon. We're thankful that she has such a sweet temperament even when she doesn't feel well.
Well, here are some pics to enjoy! I worked most of the time when paw paw and g-ma were visiting, and we did NOT take enough pictures! But, there's always next time :) Enjoy!
